Hot to Trot 5K, 10K & Fun Run

General Information

Date: Thursday, November 25, 2010
Time: 7:30 am – 5K & 10K start
9:00 am – Fun Run start
10:00 am – Awards
Where: Parkside Drive in front of Fleet Feet Sports in the Turkey Creek Shopping Area

Race participants receive:

New Balance Technical T-shirt. Guaranteed for early registered runners.
Late registrants receive shirts as supplies last.
Entry to door prizes after race
Bring a canned food item, get entered to win a pair of New Balance Shoes

Course

The 5K course starts on Parkside Drive in front of Fleet Feet Sports and runs through Turkey Creek area then loops back. The 10K course is a 2 loop course. Click here to see the course map.

Restrictions

For safety reasons, in-line skates, head phones, skateboards, baby joggers/strollers and dogs will be prohibited from the race course.

Parking

Parking available in the Turkey Creek Shopping area lots.

Race Charity

Canned food collected will be donated to Sister Martha's Pantry. Proceeds from the race to benefit Catholic Charities.

Race Day

Awards

Awards for both the 5K & 10K race. Free pair of New Balance shoes awarded to the overall winners. Fleet Feet Gift Certificates awarded to Clydesdale, Athena and Age Group categories. Finisher ribbons for the Fun Run. Awards must be picked up on raceday morning or at Fleet Feet Sports the day following the race.

Overall awards: 1^st Male, 1^st Female, 1^st Master Male, & 1^st Master Female

(not eligible for age group awards)

Clydesdale/Athena awards: 1^st Male (>200 lbs), & 1^st Female (>150 lbs)

(not eligible for age group awards)

Age group awards: 1^st, 2^nd & 3^rd Male and Female in the following age groups:

1-10, 11-14, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39,

40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+

Post Race

– Post race refreshments provided.

– All race participants are automatically entered for door prizes provided by Fleet Feet Sports and New Balance to be given away after the race.
